Deep Tissue
Deep Tissue
Deep tissue massage is intended for athletes or someone who suffers with an injury. Deep tissue targets deep layers of tissue like muscles, tendons, and fascia (fascia is like seran wrap that wraps around individual muscles, groups of muscles, and organs) that a Swedish massage would not get to.
This massage tends to cause some pain. If you find yourself holding your breath, please notify your therapist to decrease the pressure. It is normal to experience some pain for the next couple of days after your treatment.

Swedish Massage
Swedish massage is one of the most common types of massage. The purpose of this massage is to increase relaxation by decreasing muscle tension. This treatment is great for someone who wants to feel better without using deep pressure.
Hot Stone Massage
Hot Stone is a full body relaxation massage. Flat hot stones are used with oil to glide along the skin or placed on the body. This massage is great for pampering! It helps decrease tension, anxiety and stress within the muscles.
Indie Head Massage
Indie Head Massage focuses on head, neck, shoulder, face and scalp. This is great if you suffer from tension in the neck, headaches, jaw pain and stress. This treatment does use oil in the hair so we recommend bringing a hair tie or hat for after the treatment.
Cupping Therapy
Plastic and/or silicon cups are applied to the skin. It has the ability to work with deeper tissue, decrease fascial adhesions and increase range of motion. This is great for someone who suffers from:
- Tendonitis, tendinosis, tenosynovitis
- ITBand issues
- Headaches/migraines
- myofascial pain syndrome
- frozen shoulder
- improves mobility in adhesions and scars (not keloids)
- chronic inflammation
